Sheet Piling
A sheet pile wall is the retaining structure formed by a series of connected metal piles driven into the ground. Due to structural strength, water tightness due to the its interlocking sections and ability to be driven to deep penetration in most types of ground, Sheet Piling is widely used for cofferdams. The deep penetration gives resistance to the inward movement at the bottom of the excavation and sufficient cut off to prevent piping in permeable ground.
