Soil Mixing / Stabilization
Soil Mixing is a technique that utilizes the introduction of an engineered grout or reagent to modify the physical or chemical characteristics of soil without excavating. The technique involves blending of wet binding material with the soil to create improved engineering properties such as stiffness, sheer strength, bearing capacity and reduced permeability. This improves the water proofing of structure being constructed and limits drawdown of water table in addition to acting as water cut-off wall.
