USS FIREBOLT - Surface Preparation Solution

The scope of work involved removal of non-skid coating on forecastle, port & starboard walkways and transom. ACTION used Ultra High Pressure jetting equipment for surface preparation. UHP diesel powered water jetting units were used delivering a flowrate of 13 litres/min via air driven ‘Ultrastrip’ rotary hand guns with de-scaling head and sapphire jet inserts.
