Palm Cove

The Palm Cove is an inland waterway constructed by Belgian Contractor. The canal extends in a horse shoe shape at the foot of the Palm Jebel Ali. ACTION was engaged by Jan de Nul to propose a global pumping solution for the existing Palm Cove.

ACTION proposed a collection trench culvert constructed through the middle of each section. This trench controlled the water ingress into the existing canal. The pumping stations were commissioned to pump over the canal bund into the adjacent sections

ACTION made the necessary provisions within the pumping stations to ensure that the additional waters from the adjacent developments were handled without disrupting progress on the Palm Cove Canal work.
