Presidential Palace
Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Palace project covers an area of 61100 m2. ACTION International Services was responsible for studying the dewatering requirements, given the challenges involved, as construction required a dry platform for the structure. The comprehensive scope of work includes power generation, ground water control works and piezometric monitoring and reporting.
ACTION GWC engineered a complete turn-key solution which included comprehensive system design, installation and Dewatering Package Management on a 24x7 basis. Simplicity of design was the key to the engineering process such that the dewatering installation would facilitate other activities on site. Coordination with relevant contractors with a view considering their concerns in the system design resulted in a solution that delivered the required dry platform in advance of the Main Contractors expectations.
ACTION engineered a site-wide lighting solution to ensure that construction works could be carried out on a 24hrs basis to facilitate the demands of the construction schedule. Lux levels defined by the Contractor in line with the International Health & Safety Organisations recommendations defined the parameters of the design.
Action provided 24x7maintenance & monitoring crew for proper working of dewatering system.
