Manage the day-to-day site operations.
Responsible for the day-to-day resource deployment and communicate these to site employees via daily work schedules
Upon project handover you will understand project requirements and method statement and ensure all work activities are carried out in accordance with the same. Any variances are to be reported to the Line Manager prior to execution.
Provide Installation Reports, Start Reports, Damage Reports and Stop Reports.
Coordinate with Workshop and Inventory on equipment maintenance and breakdowns on site.
Perform daily site inspections and equipment functionality to ensure a safe, timely and resource efficient operations.
Ensure site issues are resolved, either directly or by escalating to the Line Manager.
Key requirements for the role:
High School certificate is required. Trade certificate or Diploma would be advantageous.
Practical skills are a definite advantage. Being able to perform basic to high level site work is required.
Ability to supervise and execute multiple projects.
Knowledge in a Construction or Engineering industry.
Knowledge in Groundwater control is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a site operations / construction environment.
Knowledge of materials, plant and equipment.
